Eastman Residents To Use Spectralase Diode Lasers

San Francisco, CA, June 24, 2019,Spectrum Lasers Inc. is proud to announce The Eastman Institute for Oral Health at The University Of Rochester will incorporate a Spectralase Diode Laser into their Orthodontic Residency Program. This was made possible by the efforts of Chairman Dr. Emile Rossouw, Dr. Stuart Frost, and Dr. John Graham.

Using the Spectralase, residents can perform simple exposures and access gingivectomies painlessly in under one minute with only topical anesthetic. “Using the Spectralase Diode Laser the residents can now take their cases from good to great by recoutouring the gingival architecture and finish their cases beautifully,” said Dr. Stuart Frost.

Diode lasers were introduced to orthodontics by Dr. David Sarver in Birmingham, AL in 2004 and first marketing to orthodontists in 2005 by Spectrum Lasers.

“We are honored that 25 residency programs currently use Spectrum Lasers” said Bob Cobley, President of Spectrum Lasers.
